Since then I have worked as an automotive technician and parts counter person. My love for cars goes back to when I was a little kid and saw my first Buick Grand National. It was from that moment on I fell in love with cars. I have worked at a couple car dealerships, and parts stores before I got the opportunity to work for a store that specializes in more vintage parts. It’s definitely a challenge making the transition from newer cars to vintage cars, but I love it. My hobby outside of work is my 2004 Toyota Matrix XRS. The XRS is a rare model that has a high output 1.8 liter Yamaha four cylinder mated to a six speed manual transmission. I’m constantly tinkering with it, considering it’s my show car/daily driver. I have attended many shows with it, and have pulled over 40 awards with it with a handful of photo shoots with it. Once I get the funds up to buy a Jeep or a pickup truck I can dedicate my car to strictly car shows and nice weather.
